I make Mac apps for people who still care about fast, native software.
This manifesto is the checklist I use before shipping anything.
We believe: apps should follow the Unix philosophy of small programs that do one thing well. Apps should be fast. Apps should not need to be online to function. Apps should respect your privacy. Apps should not rely on AI to be useful. Mac apps should be written in native Swift UI.
We hate: Bloated web apps, slow apps, SaaS/monthly subscriptions, Widgets, Menu bar apps, Using the mouse, Window "chrome" and noise, App store limitations, AI.
We love: Keyboard shortcuts and keyboard first control, Unique aesthetics and transparency, Customization, Minimal buttons and windows, Icons and images, Data privacy, speed, small file sizes, and macOS.
