You own a food scale. You already know the number. The hard part is your app, which wants you to search a database for a food you just weighed.

Tallix skips the search. You type the label once, and the scale does the rest.

How to log weighed food

  1. Save the food once, straight off the label. Set the serving to 100g.
  2. Weigh your portion. Say it's 150 g.
  3. Log it and set the row to ×1.5. Tallix multiplies the calories and macros.
Tallix Add screen: calories 190, fiber 2, protein 7, name Peanut butter, typed straight off the label.
Type it once, straight off the label.

Why this beats a database

Search a food in a big tracker and you get a pile of entries typed in by strangers. One Chobani drink came back with nine answers, from 140 to 230 calories.

Your scale and your label give you one answer. Tallix just keeps it.

FAQ

Can I log in grams?

Save the food per 100 g, then log your weight as a multiple: 150 g is ×1.5, 80 g is ×0.8. Totals multiply for you.

Do I have to type every food each time?

No. Type it once and it lives in your library. The foods you log most rise to the top, so next time it's one tap.

Does it work offline?

Yes. There's no server to wait for.
